Cost of Technology Is A Real Bargain Now

Here are some other significant news items from May 1992:

• May 13 – Three astronauts simultaneously walked in space for the first time.
• May 19 – The 27th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution is ratified, prohibiting Congress from raising its own salary.
• May 20 – India launches its first space satellite without assistance from other nations.
• May 22 – Johnny Carson’s final appearance as host of the Tonight Show; three days later Jay Leno becomes permanent host of the Tonight Show.
